I agree bugrock. As the years roll on my recollections of the town are slipping away or just aren’t relevant to the topics . I have enjoyed the early years on this forum and Strum has done a great job in all that time . dnc2

Strum, this is surely a difficult time for you. The demands of running a forum and organizing the right people to maintain the website must indeed bite into your free time.
I, for one admire your thoughtful posts, which always seem to be neutral with regard to the nature of topics. Hope you are having a holiday and making ready to engage again.
In the meantime, I know there is a lot of support and appreciation from the members of this site hellllo

BAIDU is a Chinese web crawler or bot, used to trawl info and stats from websites. Big Chinese Brother is watching you. hhide

Hi folks. Sorry I've been away from the site hunting for help which is difficult because people have moved on since social-media sites, twitter, phone apps, instagram, snapchat etc and from what I gather programmers these days are more interested in producing phone apps, seems that's where the money is.
Anyway I by no means have abandoned the site, not by a long chalk and talking of chalk I'm starting college tomorrow, 5th level diploma in Art / Design, so now I'm hoping to meet contacts through there.
I'll keep you posted. ;)

Thanks for the support folks, it's all new to me as I've no formal training in Art. First day today was great, very relaxing, nice Tutors and Students, and only 5 minutes from home. Never too late eh. Cheers. thumbright

Strum:

Good luck with the search. Great to hear you are back studying.
To-day I tried to get on a course in Dun Laoghaire and it has been scratched due to lack of interest!
