Lads, thanks for the welcome. The beauty of this site is that we can all be lads and lassies no matter what figure we reach.

Jemser are you in Ireland??? That is a rarity.

Micheál, are you still involved with Cuala?

Just to let you all know that the site will be off for a day next week, between the11th and 14th to upgrade the software. This is simply to make the site more secure. I'll let you know when.

Hi Sinead,

Yes I am at home here in Ireland, at the moment. I have recently taken early retirement and am planning a few trips in the future. Just enjoying the free time at the moment and tying up a few details, hope you are well and that we meet up somewhere soon.
Regards Jemser 8-)

Jemser,

I have to say that I cannot recommend retirement too much. It was the best move I ever made. My health improved, my life brightened and joy abounds. Wait till you are old enough to get the free travel then each day is a joy. Where to go today, what adventures to make and all for nothing!! I'm not one for clubs or groups but, there is a get together out there for every possible activity from dancing to mountainclimbing...cycling to roller blading! Go for it young man!! Enjoy every minute wuu wuu wuu

Jemser,

Best of luck in your Retirement.

Rule 1. Don't make lists.
Rule 2. Don't feel accountable for what you do with your time.
Rule 3. Break these rules if it suits you.

Strum, I am not getting any alerts. It doesn't really matter to me as I usually have a look in every day or three.

I don't get alerts - but that's because I've configured it this way in my User Control Panel

So what do you reckon so far folks? I'm not sure about the dark theme but I'll leave that up to you. I want to get the portal page back and the banner on all pages.
There are a few changes alright but for the better if you look around at the functions. Any thoughts?

EDIT: Banner sorted.

EDIT: Hello, is there anybody out there? :D

I'm here!! but, it is taking me a while. I don't like the dark background and the white writing! And I am a bit thick!! When I went into the old site I knew what topics were current. Am finding this a little difficult to negotiate but, that is me as I hate change!! Now I think I cop it thee is a red notification and I'll go to that. I like the yellow for the Board Index etc.
