I have sore memories of the Lucan Dairies in Mounttown.
When I was 15 I was collecting wood for a Bomb Fire in the disused dairy when a large Beam fell on my head and knocked me out for the count
Fire Brigade Ambulance was called fro Dun laoghaire and the only way out was through the small hole I and others had climbed through to get in.
Woke up in St Michaels a few hours later with a relieved Mother beside my Bed.
Needless to say, a sore lesson was learned and i never went into the Dairy again.

A few years before they formed Premier Dairies, the various companies entered into a strategic alliance to adopt a common glass bottle that could be re-cycled back to any company. (I have a newscutting about this somewhere; I'll dig it out)
