Hello one and all, a belated Happy New Year to everyone, I was away for the festive season in a part of the country with no Broadband ! How did we live without it !!!
Harjoe, I am so sorry to see your Sister passed on, my thoughts are with you, it is a dreadful upset to lose a loved one and especially at Christmas time, may she rest in peace.

Big countdown to end of 2012 starting. We haven't decided whether to go to the pier for the fireworks or not... think it depends on the amount of drink taken........
May I wish everyone the very, very best New Year with peace, good health and buckets of happiness.
Don't fret about the little things...
the big thing is to enjoy every day...
O.K 2013 Looking Forward to You.
I am not afraid of tomorrow, for I have seen yesterday and I love today.

I did not know that.
Little suggestion - maybe you could set up a new Topic called "Useless Information for the Pub Quiz" and we all contribute to it. It would be interesting to see the contributions.

There are only 14 possible calendars, and they are recycled.
In a previous life, Gulliver produced "The Millenium Calendar" which consists of (a) all 14 calendars numbered 1-14 and (b) a table for two centuries (1900-2100) showing which to use in each year. It was published by a certain bank. PM me with your address if you want a copy - it folds to about the size of a credit card.

A belated Happy New Year to one and all. Just back from Brazil (herself is Brazilian). Christmas dinner was a pork roast in a wood fired oven and a barbeque. No turkey, thanks be to God!!!
