Good News.

Post by jordo » Tue Sep 30, 2008 10:44 pm

The Forum has been rocked by bad news over the past few weeks with the deaths of Snowhites F in L, Farmboy'ss dear brother Terry and more recently Flatlad's F in L. so here's a bit of good news.

I didn't post it on the day because of the day that was in it but now take the opportunity to introduce:

Nathan Grammer Kelly born at 13:03 on Sunday 21st September 2008 and weighed in at 10lbs 7ozs. Mother and baby are home now and doing fine. He is my fourth grandchild, He has a brother Jordan, a sister Rebecca and a cousin Laura so I think it's time I thought about getting a second job  :D :D :D

Jordo, that is fantastic news  I would say 4 lucky grandchildren to have you and your good lady as grandparents. That little chap, in years to come, will discover all the magical places you,ve already brought his older brother, Jordan. It is great to hear good news for a change and you dont get much better than the birth of a baby. Best wishes to your (growing) family.

Hi guys and thanks for all the nice comments. I have been waiting for ages to get photos of the little guy but with one thing and another they have only arrived this minute. So now I take great pleasure in presenting my newest Grandchild Nathan.

He is less than 20 minutes old in the first photo and only in the process of getting dressed. The second one is in the ward but still less than an hour old.

My God, twenty minutes old! I think the last time I seen a baby so young was my own lad and that was nearly twenty five years ago! Lovely pics of a grand little chap.

Pics like those make me less terrified of what coming in January and remind me that it'll all be worth it.

Only 11 /12 weeks to go.........

Nathan is 3 months old today. He continues to thrive TG, full of smiles at this stage and very interested in his big brother as you can see from the photo taken yesterday.

I always admired my old man for the way he so strongly valued his kids and grandkids. He never had any regard for money or other material things, to him having his family around healthy and happy made him a rich man. I can see the same quality in Jordo.
