Just dawned on me today that it is 50 years since I left the Dominican Convent...a lifetime. I really enjoyed my time there and all I learned stood me in good stead

While I was at the Dominicans a big treat was to go to the Oratory and look around. That oratory is 100 years old this year and many celebrations will take place. don't forget to visit it if you can. Free tours coming up.
To celebrate the centenary of the Oratory of the Sacred Heart, Dun Laoghaire, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Heritage Events, will open the Oratory for FREE guided tours from the 8th of October to the 30th of November 2019.
Guided Tours will take place on:
Tuesday at 10am, 11am and last tour 12noon.
Thursday at 4pm, 5pm and last tour 6pm.
Saturday at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and last tour 4pm.
No Booking Required.
