Another in the Maritime. I saw this Band upstairs in Gilbert and Wrights a while back. Great to hear something different from the norm.

Let me explain. One of the things I've learned on this site is how to explore old photos. This, and being a Flickr user, led me to become a NLOi "Flickroonie", an informal group of enthusiasts who interrogate, explore and share thoughts on historic photos from all over Ireland. The National Photographic Archive is now hosting an exhibition promoting our work.

Gosh, I'm losing it. I looked at that photo earlier today and firstly didn't notice Micheál's signature signs and how could I not notice the tennis ball heading for Sabrina. Now that you point it out keeper it is as obvious as the ball that struck Sabrina. :lol: :lol:

Message from the RNLI Dún Laoghaire.

Next Saturday 12th May ... there will be a few community safety volunteers ready to Check your lifejackets ... we will be situated Outside the Royal Irish Yacht Club all day.... from 9.30am to 5pm.
Bring your jackets along .. we are also happy to answer any questions you may have whether they are lifejacket specific, general water safety information or even just generic Lifeboat questions.
Spread the word, even if you aren’t water based come and say hello! We can always chat about our new FLOAT campaign!
