Paul McGrath

Post by Rocker » Fri Apr 06, 2012 11:37 am

This morning I am listening to the great Paul McGrath on Newstalk Radio. He is playing records that mean a lot to him. This gentle man who shone on the Irish football team. Thank you Paul for the amazing games. You made the kid in the street know that everything is possible.

I agree with you Rocker, had the privilige to play with Paul for a few years at the start of his career, he was, as they say in football terms, a "natural" and to this day a gentle giant, a living legend.

I never heard Paul sing before. I'd say that song means a lot to him, wonderful song, sung by a wonderful person and probably the best footballer that Ireland ever produced. :D

Folks,

Paul McGrath was on at the end of the Late Late show last night and I just have to some back to this site to replay the Contender contributed by Toss. Have a look at the RTE player to see the interview if you missed it. You don't have to watch the whole programme its the last interview! He is an inspiration for all !
