Vera R.I.P.
a famous Dun Laoghaire-ite without doubt

That is a true tribute Grammer. No surname needed. She was a gentle, kind woman of the old tradition.Out in all weathers with a greeting and a kindly smile for everyone.

Why doesn't someone write a short story about Vera (R.I.P) for those of us who didn't know the lady.
It would be nice for folks looking in also. Might evoke some memories and entice new members to
relate their tales of life in the Borough.

Was in Dún Laoghaire early this morning and how nice to see floral tributes at the end of Convent Road to Vera. A lovely photo there too among the flowers.
