As has been said in the Monkstown Stream topic
Clonkeen Stream
runs through Kilboggat Park then goes underground @ Seapoint Rugby Club -along the bottom of Ashlawn -under Wyattville road and then emerges overground again at the Loughlinstown side of Wyattville road -I'm sure we have members living there who can take some photos

I have posted photos of it in the Killiney topic. Talked about it before Grammer. It comes up overground at the back of Tesco's in Deans'grange.

Some years ago a young boy lost his life in this stream.
He took a fit and fell into the stream and could not be
revived when found.
All these streams look harmless but they all have a tale
to tell. It is surprising how they rise after rainfall.

That's my cycle path to work every morning weather permitting
very quiet just wish I didn't have to carry my bike up the steps at the end

Lovely way to go. Drop a note to DunLaoghaire Co Co Parks Dept...they should have everywhere wheelchair accessible.

Having just come back from the "land of the fit and lean"...the Austrians cycle everywhere and the pedestrians have to beware and "dismount". We were in a gorgeous place that has wanderwegs and cyclewegs and thousands of bodies set off every morning with lunches and backpacks and enjoy the day...hail rain or snow. They have jackets for all weathers and I'd say very few bad hearts there!!
The council will have to cop itself on..the people of Ireland must get fit!!P.S back on topic...we can all walk along the Clonkeen stream weg...see yis with yer lunches tomorrow.
