dontknow dontknow dontknow dontknow
Yep your are right there Strum.
I still think there should be a charge for walking the East Pier -It's been worn away by all the born again keep fit gang
thousands of them-
I mean a euro is not much to cough up -
trainee walkers should be made use the West Pier -free for the first couple of months
then they could sit /or walk a test that would qualify them to walk the East (min.fee for test -say 75€)
dontknow dontknow

I'm with you Grammer. I think that it should be a progressive charge though. A fixed rate to walk from the land end to the lighthouse, and a sliding scale to walk back depending on the severity of the weather. The worse the weather, the higher the charge. There should also be penalty charge for turning back early. A sheltering fee to be introduced at the bandstand, payable at five minute intervals. A waste collection charge to be levied from anybody eating a 99 to be paid at the outset. PPS numbers to be surrendered for adults and up to date dog licences for dogs. The system should eventually be self funding, but a 2% increase in general taxation will be required for set up costs and consultants. You and me, Grammer. Between us we'll soon have the country turning a healthy profit.

That's it you two   I'm forming a Right2Walk protest group and I'm organising a flotilla of rowing boats from Dalkey and in emergency some from Ringsend to blockade the Harbour and the Pier, only access will be from the West Pier via tightrope  and if yiz feel brave enough to walk it yiz will be pelted with 99s
It's our Pier  NO PPS  NO CHARGES If yiz don't withdraw this foolish nonsense I'll set Rocker on yiz  babbby
Now there's a flashback  my favourite old thread " This is It " so cruelly terminated in its prime

The two lads are in such a state. I would love to see what downstairs looks like. I'd say they got a whack already, the older lad has streaks on his cheeks that seem to have been washed clean by tears.

Dev's looking poorly!
Bertie looks better in uniform than in the anorak.
I love Brian Dobson. I mean His appearance; I'm not coming out or anything like that.
