Re: What are you listening to?
This is Tom Russell .... regular visitor to our shores and a great songwriter. He wrote this a decade ago, its now more relative today than ever and not just to the USA as our friends in the UK are about to foolishly imprison themselves in the belief that their own 'unemployables' will suddenly want to start doing all the jobs that were beneath them previously.... Whos gonna clean your floor your majesty ????

Re: What are you listening to?
Strums posting on Events reminded me of Darragh O'Neill formerly of this parish. I had the pleasure of having him sitting on my wall as a small child playing amazing classical guitar. I knew he would go far. I'd forgotten how good he is.

I was watching that and was wondering where the cottage was. It is a lovely job. Just goes to show what can be done with a cottage and a lot of imagination and money. Thanks for telling us the location. I will have a snoop the next time I am at Woodies.

Re: What are you listening to?
My grandaughter, Emily wandered on the stage - and stole the show. The effect on her Aspergers was so positive since that night

They look Irish, don't they. The one on the left is a brilliant guitarist and vocalist. He is just learning the fiddle. A real no rehearsal, last minute stage call.

The bar had barely opened, so we were hanging out for a beer or four!Mind you, they're all a bit solemn looking
That venue is a folk club, with strict rules on content and instruments. The ladies came on at 10 minutes notice. At other venues we ave a slightly different line up. I can use the electric bass and we gt into some rock and roll and way out stuff.

That is just the loveliest video Bugs. Emily is living the music. Does she play anything herself? or sing?

Re: What are you listening to?
No, Rocker, our drummer gave her a tambourine to play with just before we we went on stage, Thus he created the monster you see in the clip.
