Anyone have any photos of the Moynihan Pubs?
Anyone have any photos of the Moynihan Pubs?
Hi all
I am Aisling (nee) Moynihan, my grandad owned the Moynihan Pubs in Dun Laoghaire that he sadly sold off.
My dad used to manage one when in school and college.
I was wondering if anyone has any photos of the pubs? I found one here already but would love more if anyone has them?
My dads not in great health and it would cheer him up no end.
Thanks!!

Welcome to you Aisling, are you Tony's daughter?
I worked with Tony many years ago.
There is a photo of the pub on this site somewhere.
Look forward to your posts.

Aisling Welcome to the site. If you go to the top right hand side of the portal screen you will see a search button and look up moynihans there is one photo of a man with a car outside Moynihans. Unfortunately an old photo posted by Gulliver is not now available on the site (the host company Imageshack altered ownership).
I am not afraid of tomorrow, for I have seen yesterday and I love today.

Welcome Aisling hope you enjoy the site as much as I enjoyed a pint in the back lounge of your Grandad's pub. Always a friendly atmosphere.

Denis, surely you weren't old enough to drink in Moynihans!
Mr. Moynihan was a gentleman, he and my dad were friends.
Moynihans hosted a wealth of the hardened drinkers in the
Borough.

A lot of pubs have stopped the christmas drink in the last few years. I believe they
still do it in The Victor or I should say The Rochestown Lodge Hotel and McKenna's
still give a free dink at christmas to their customers I'm told.
